2015 Great Lakes Funny Car Nationals – Dustin Corn makes his first straight-as-an-arrow pass in his Hi Jinx rear-engine '78 Corvette funny car. While his mid-8-second pass may not seem earth-shattering to the casual fan, it was quite impressive to learn that just a day earlier during pre-event testing Corn had his hands full keeping the ill-handling car rubber-side down. Lucky for those of us in attendance, Bret Kepner was in the tower and on the mic giving his best color commentary of the previous days' excitement, going so far to say that, as Corn was staging, "there's a reason no one will run him."
