Jennifer White went for a nice bike ride outdoors with her cameras. While cycling along the trail, she turned her camera to face backward. Behind her were four happy, playful German shepherds. As she rides, you can hear Jennifer say, “My babies! My babies!” The four dogs were raised by her on a fresh-air farm. Her simple, yet cheerful video helps to illustrate the importance of something a lot of people don't talk about: dog exercise.
According to the Animal Foundation:
“A sedentary pooch can quickly become an overweight one, and that brings all sorts of potential health problems with it. Even if your dog is active inside the home, they still need another outlet for pent-up energy.Young dogs need around an hour of daily exercise, but some dogs bred for sports or herding activities may need much more.Youll benefit from having a well-exercised dog, as tired dogs tend to behave better, and youll help your pet avoid unnecessary weight gain!”
